Episode 5: Shame

In this episode of the Sweatpants Chronicles, Cassidy is in therapist mode teaching Tristi all about shame – what it means and why we should all be talking about it. It’s a really important conversation to have because everyone has shame and struggles with it at some point in their lives. Cassidy shares some excerpts from Brene Brown’s incredible book all about shame, Daring Greatly. One of the most important things we learn from Brene is that the less we talk about shame, the more control it has over our lives. So we’re going to break that control by talking about it!

Weekly Obsessions
Cassidy: Pink Flowers – My family lost one of my nieces recently and pink flower mean something much different to me right now. I used to hate pink but I kind of love it right now.
Tristi: Bloodline – It is the most addictive show and I hate everything it’s doing to me but I can’t stop watching it!
